Prepare for the smart meter rollout with free resources

SFHA is continuing its campaign with Smart Energy GB to promote the rollout of smart meters across Scotland. As part of this campaign, we want to encourage our members to support their low income tenants through face-to-face conversations about the benefits of smart meters. Scottish Government launches consultation on post-2020 Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH)

The Scottish Government has launched a consultation on proposed energy efficiency standards for social housing post 2020.  These standards would aim to help address fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.  The EESSH2 standards are highly ambitious – with a target EPC of Band B for 2032 for the vast majority of homes.  The consultation, which opened in May, is open for 3 months.
