MySavings - Wheatley Group

Customers of Wheatley Group can use a new scheme called MySavings to save money on their shopping. The scheme, launched on 9 May 2019, gives tenants access to offers on everything from food at the supermarket to clothes for the family. There are even offers on things like cinema tickets and takeaways.


Something old, something new, something borrowed for Universal Credit

Two events, staged not many miles apart, took place on Friday which may well affect the eventual implementation of Universal Credit, so Jeremy Hewer, SFHA's policy advisor, digs a bit deeper. 


Beyond4Walls, Wheatley Group

Beyond4Walls was a youth research project involving 12 young people; one group aged 14 to 17 and another 18 to 21. The young volunteers were from different parts of Glasgow and came together to discuss and explore issues about housing and communities. Although they were from different backgrounds, they shared a common goal of bringing the voices of other young people to a wider audience and helping to make a positive difference. The project took place between June 2014 and June 2015.


River Clyde Homes - Community Development

A Community Development Officer was appointed in February 2017 on a one year contract, part funded by RCH, Riverside Inverclyde and HSCP. RCH and HSCP funding was extended in 2018 for another year. The Community Development Officer was in post until March 2019, and during that time, organised a number of projects to develop the communities alongside the regeneration of the Broomhill area of Greenock.


Kingdom Employability Scheme

Kingdom Housing Association has launched a pioneering shortlisting scheme to guarantee that people who are homeless, or have recently experienced homelessness, will be considered for employment.                                                                         


Housing Innovation Community Update
